| Another choice is to have the baby and keep it yourself. Most people agree that motherhood is the most difficult job there is. It is probably the most rewarding too; but are you ready to spend the next 18 years plus, taking care of this baby, child, teenager? Are you prepared for sleepless nights, diapers, doctor's visits, teething, and colic? Babies do not stay babies for very long. If you are not ready to change your lifestyle and provide for your child's physical, mental, emotional, and social needs, maybe you need to consider adoption. Just remember, if you keep the baby, that baby will be your responsibility; not your family's, and not your friend's. They may be able to help, but will not be the responsible person in that child's life. | ||
